Mock Interviews
During the January Enrichment sessions, there will be mock interviews. Students will discuss their projects, one-on-one, with volunteers. The purpose of the mock interviews is to give the student an opportunity to practice talking about their project and to give them a sense of whether they are on track for completing their project. Students will need to bring something from their project to discuss with the interviewers. Performing Arts students (music, oratory, dramatics, and poetry performance) will perform their piece. Examples of material to bring by category may include:

  • STEM – Lab notebook, draft report, data / lab results, outline of presentation.
  • Architecture – sketches, notes, summary of building concept, photo of model in progress.
  • Humanities – outlines, draft paper, journal notes.
  • Drawing, Painting, Photography, Sculpture – sketches, photos of work in progress
  • Filmmaking – storyboards, script, notes, clips of work in progress.
  • Entrepreneurship – executive summary, marketing plan, financial plan, SWOT analysis.
